The answer is simple: think about the conditions you usually surf in and what you’re looking for every time you go out.

Dead onshore conditions, focused on speed and big jumps:

Custom board with a lot of rocker or tail kick—hard to plane but turns like crazy:
SYMMETRICAL SETUP or a mix: bigger fins in the back and smaller asymmetrical fins in the front.
Avoid large front fins in terms of surface area. -

Those production fins are way too good for my level, I will never ever feel any difference as my level it is not so high
What it counts it is the ability of the rider
Plastic , carbon , g-10, what ever….at the end it is just a fin!
I order a custom board spending more than 2500€ and then I'll spend few bucks for the fins as they are not so important as I have the best shape in the world!
Fins can't make any difference, it is the rider that makes the difference.
Fins must be soft and bending in order to get the correct maneuverability and G-10 it is too stiff
